I have searched the boards for EM12 modems in the WE826 but only got one return.. so my question is this..
im looking to setup 5 Modems for a family member and they will use ATT towers have B66 so i wanted to ask what modem that supports B66 is a stable performer in the We826? or should i not worry about B66 support and just get the old reliable MC7455? he is 3/4 mile from the tower .
thx

Generally the more bands and higher CAT# the modem has, the better the speeds/throughput, however the actual performance depends on several other factors such as the data plan (amount of included data/throttling), distance from the tower, terrain and environmental/weather factors.
Here's some more info about modems, carriers, and speed/throughput improvements.

You might want to look at the EM7511 for AT&T since it includes the FirstNet Band 14 as well as Band 66.mezmerizz0454 wrote: ↑Fri Jan 31, 2020 8:49 pm I have searched the boards for EM12 modems in the WE826 but only got one return.. so my question is this..

Pretty stable and simple build using the WE826GO.

Mr. Helms in your opinion is the EM7511 (with latest firmware from The Wireless Haven site) and the WE826GO pretty much a plug and play option with just a few steps of configuration needed like a MC7455?
Other than the M.2 adapter and MHF4 pigtails of course.

I'm running the EM12 on a Raspberry Pi with latest ROOter software. It was plug and play. Have been experiencing a few issues with carrier aggregation but believe this is all due to the provider. Firmware upgrade was easy and support from Quectel has been very good.

They are both pretty much the same as far as configuration goes.mezmerizz0454 wrote: ↑Sun Feb 02, 2020 6:53 pm Mr. Helms in your opinion is the EM7511 (with latest firmware from The Wireless Haven site) and the WE826GO pretty much a plug and play option with just a few steps of configuration needed like a MC7455?
