Re: Quectel EP06-A AT commands for carrier aggregation bandlock?
You may find what you need from HERE to get you started.
I have little to no experience with the Quectel line of modems, although I will need to figure them out since we will be stocking them on the store.

Re: Cradlepoint CBA850LP6 Verizon firmware 002.026_001
That is strange. I would expect there to be no difference.
I do have some older versions of firmware for the LP6 that you can try.

Re: Has anyone built We826-T2 with Telit/fibocom with LTE modems with success?
2. It's possible that Yipzy's device came with a generic firmware, allowing it to work in a non-laptop environment.
This crossed my mind and I tried to locate a generic firmware to flash the modem to no avail.
3. He used it on external USB enclosure instead of as an internal modem.
I have ...

Re: Sierra Wireless Modems - Selecting the Preferred Carrier Firmware
When you say "carrier's firmware", do you mean a carrier profile with preset band values, or an actual firmware flash file?
The modem contains the carrier's actual firmware.
As an example, these are the latest carrier's firmware available for the Sierra Wireless MC7455:

Re: Cradlepoint CBA850LP6 Verizon firmware 002.026_001
You will need to use the atterm command in the Device Console .
In the alternative, you will find it easier to use Putty to access the atterm modem where you can copy and paste the commands:
at!entercnd="A710";!RMARESET=1
Once it confirms the modem has been restored, reboot the modem with:

Re: WE1326 with EM7565
One great setup is running GoldenOrb on the Linksys WRT3200 and using the USB3.0 to M.2 Adapter enclosure to connect the two.
We are using the same setup with a WRT1900ACS.

We are jest outside of Dallas, about as close to Texas as one can get.BillA wrote: Mon Jan 06, 2020 2:40 pm Good to know, my only concern would be a heat wave when it gets above 120 (Texas/Florida comes to mind;).

Re: WE1326 and MC7455 Slow issues
The difference in speed between the phone and MC7455 are most likely due to the category difference (i.e., CAT6 vs CAT12...18) in the two devices, and the bands that are available for each device. We see this on the EM7565 CAT12 (3 x carrier aggregation and band 66) verses the MC7455 CAT6 (with 2 x ...

Re: M2M NEXG suddenly not connecting to B2
The weather can certainly impact signals.
Thus, it is possible to be completely tower related.

I'm a novice that is getting really frustrated . I'm not sure who or what I should be listening to at this point. I'm getting conflicting advice between the articles posted and the advice I have been given here. All I wanted was a router that I could pop my sim card into. Now I have this expensive ...

Re: Sierra Wireless EM7565 -- Flashing | Updating Firmware
I don't want to hijack this thread, I thought my concern were pretty similar, and I don't want to clutter the forum with similar posts.
If I plan on using an EM7565, likely harvested from old laptops, on T-Mobile network, will it be sufficient to have this modem just flashed to Generic firmware ...

Re: WE 826-GO / Sierra EM7565 CAT-12 and Visible
There are enough people who make this mistake of using the wrong AT Commands on the EM75XX modems, that I have been wanting to tutorial on the process. In fact, it is on my list which seems to grow by the day.

Re: WE 826-GO / Sierra EM7565 CAT-12 and Visible
This is what I would try. Go to SYSTEM > BACKUP/FLASH FIRMWARE RESTORE > RESET TO DEFAULTS.
Once it came back on line, I would set the APN and the Time Zone.
I would then test the WiFi as it is before making any changes.
The WiFi on these units are far from optimal, and can be a little finicky ...

Re: External Antenna Band 13 MIMO?
On top of everything I just got a notice that my hotpot data for this account is almost used up, Wasn't expecting that since I have Verizon Unlimited. Did not think it would recognize it as a hotspot.
I checked the towers and they also have AT&T antennas on them so I may try them. I think AT&T ...

Re: External Antenna Band 13 MIMO?
If you are not using IPV6, disable your TTL rules and try these in your Custom Rules.
#startTTL
iptables -t mangle -I POSTROUTING -o wwan0 -j TTL --ttl-set 65
iptables -t mangle -I PREROUTING -i wwan0 -j TTL --ttl-set 65
#endTTL
Then, if they leak, try changing the 65 to 117
