Well I seem to have sort of made progress. I ran Huawei Terminal as Admin and was able to issue the following commands.

ATI (it then sent me a bunch of information on the modem)
at!entercnd="A710" (it said "OK")

Modifying WiFiX | GoldenOrb for IPV4 APN

WiFiX and GoldenOrb firmware by default assings and sends the APN as IPV4V6. There are occasions when an APN will requires an IPV4 address.

EM20-G Downgrading the firmware

It would depend on which version of the MC7355 you have. If it is OEM MC7355 there should not be an issue with adding its PID/VID using the method outlined above.

Check to make sure connection monitor is disabled in the modem profile.

I seem to remember it will not play fair with load balancing/failover.

Yeah, the EM919X modems can be a little finicky at times.

I would just use putty (without using the script) to access the modem and run the following commands:

AT!ENTERCND="A710";!IMAGE=0,0;!IMAGE=0,1;!IMAGE=0;!NVRESTORE=0

then, using the command below, substituting the 12,34,..... with your ...

The authorization is included the first AT command. It joins 5 different AT commands into one.

You can use Google Earth for coordinates. They are located on the bottom, right hand corner of the screen (unless something has changed).
