Has anyone used one of these boxes with success?
I’d like to swap an AirCard in to this and use it on an ATT tablet plan.
Can anyone confirm compatibility or offer any tips/tricks to make sure this works (before I drop he money on the router/modem)?
My hope is that att will just detect the AirCard as a generic Qualcomm modem (vs if I sim swap in to a hotspot, they will detect it as a nighthawk, etc.)

What is it people do with Nighthawks? For me the Nighthawk “just worked” with a sim activated in a tablet.MoarBarz wrote: Tue Oct 15, 2019 5:33 pm The box ships with firmware that can address the modem... The issue is getting AT&T to not block it from a tablet plan... So, the same thing people do with Nighthawks but with this thing instead.

The pre-paid tablet SIMs were being caught as out of device, or abusive levels of data use on hotspot.synamrao wrote: Sun Mar 28, 2021 10:37 pm What is it people do with Nighthawks? For me the Nighthawk “just worked” with a sim activated in a tablet.
Post Paid doesn't yet have that issue.

I assume post paid now has this issue? Mine has stopped working sometime in the last year.Didneywhorl wrote: Mon Mar 29, 2021 9:04 am The pre-paid tablet SIMs were being caught as out of device, or abusive levels of data use on hotspot.
