Re: WG3526-P Router w/Sierra MC7455 Modem inside a DM25X19 Antenna
Awesome build and tutorial!
Has anyone built anything similar for 700Mhz range? That seems to be my main frequency around here. I love the build and could use the empty box and add antennas externally. Just thinking the Cat6 is the way to go in my situation.
Thanks!

Re: Sierra Wireless EM7511 Aggregation Issue
Good job, just leave it like that, don't mess around with locking bands, and let the modem's firmware do the scanning. It's programmed so that it constantly searches out the best channels/CA (unless you want to of course).

Re: PagePlus + Mofi - What am i missing?
You are all correct.
It was the APN. I set the APN to tracfone.vzwentp and TTL to 117 and it connected no problem.
Thank you so much guys. I feel like an idiot for not having noticed the apn setting as something you should change but i'd only read about the TTL.

Re: Debugging SimpleMobile connection (APN?) on WG3526 / EP06-A
Thanks for the reply, I meant to update on this after contacting SM. Who was right? The newbie APN theory or BillA's roaming hypothesis?
The correct APN for SimpleMobile is "simple" (without the quotes, all lower case).
As far as I know, they don't block modems just because of a wrong APN, but ...

Re: Help Building a 5G router for TMobile
Thank you.
I ended up buying a SIM8200EA-M2 and Quectel RM500Q. I'll let everyone know what I'm able to figure out.

Re: PSA: AT&T Doing away with $35 iPad Unlimited.
Hello hw1353,
I put the sim directly into the router with the MC7455 and it activated immediately. Then used the messenger in the router to activate my account online and talk to them on the phone when I had issues. Customer service was the biggest issues. Took like 24 hours for the add on I needed ...

Re: PSA: AT&T Doing away with $35 iPad Unlimited.
It's been over a year since I was using Calyx. If I recall correctly, the towers are ~8 miles away, but it's complicated by the fact that my house is surrounded by trees (PNW). I was using MC7455 and WG3526 (later upgraded to Turris Omnia) with 2 largish omni antennas. I tried using some directional ...

Re: WiFIX WE826-T Showing there is no sim card
Turns out the adpater I have for my sierra wireless card has a sim card slot on it. I put it in there and I believe it recognizes the card, however it isn't connecting to Verizon. Looking in the debug, it shows me this Tue May 5 19:01:02 2020 : /dev/ttyUSB2 AT+CFUN=1

Re: Affordable Alternative to ATT iPad?
I have been testing with visible in a number of phones and devices (s9, pixel 3a, netgear mr1100, and gl.inet mifi with the ec25-af modem). My findings are that you can I get decent speeds on devices themselves, put packet response (ping times) are generally high (100ms +). It worked on all of the ...
