This is likely the same problem everyone else is having with AT&T right now. All router, many plans.
One proposed workaround is using a VPN with a port other than 80 and 443.
Also, this likely only affects people that have hit 22GB of usage in the current billing cycle.
Good luck to us all!

Re: MOFI4500 4x4 Mimo
It's not that simple... That cat6 modem in the mofi isn't capable of 4x4 mimo, so first you'd need a much more expensive modem (cat16 I think is the baseline for 4x4), an adapter to install the modem (newer modems are m.2, not mpci-e), and at that point you might as well sell off the mofi and start ...

Not a fan of the mofi units... Considering they usually go for $300+ and you can get the same modem and router for closer to $130, I'd probably cancel that and use the savings to add on a mimo (or a pair of single) antenna(s) and the necessary cabling. You don't want your LTE router running on your ...

The tower determines what bands your phone will latch on. 2 of those should work, but at that price you'd be better off with a parabolic with a mimo feed. You don't want to point at 2 different towers, btw... Check to see if you got water and moisture in the connection. That would cause this..

Re: Band 71 antennas
I have a RigExpert AA-600 antenna analyzer. It runs R±jX curves from 0 to 600MHz standalone. I use it mostly for ham radio stuff. I found using the software and computer with it it will work up past 1000MHz. You can look up Moxon antenna. It's simply a 2 element folded element yagi to shorten the ...

Building a WPJ428 (MMN428HV) with GoldenOrb
The Compex WPJ428 or MMN428HV comes with a Quad Core CPU, SIM and M2 slot.
I noticed it can be made into a nice router so I order one and here I have it running Rooter Gold Orb.
The steps to build are the standard: http://ofmodemsandmen.com/buildpkg.html

Re: ZBT WG1608, EM20-G, Page Plus, stuck connecting
This may or may not help, but when I had similar issues, Yipzy's advice sorted me out:

I ran these commands and then rebooted the router and then input the APN again (through the UI)

Re: MOFI4500 / T-Mobile VS. Verizon Confusion. Fast Vs. Slow
The 600Kbps is usually a sign that your data is being detected as hotspot data. If you put your Verizon's sim back into the phone and it doesn't throttle to 600Kbps then you know it is caused by hotspot detection.

Re: Testing with SimpleMobile
There's a magic AT command floating around on the gl-inet forum for quectel modems that can solve device identification hurtles ;) lol Just need a "compatible" device to lock away/destroy/never use. I believe that's all I'm allowed to say on this forum hehe. If your looking for a good Verizon ...

Re: Testing with SimpleMobile
That's a slick way to word it and dropping those hints Maybe some of the users will figure it out. Anyway, if you don't care about higher latency. You could always give Visible with party pay ($25) a try since you are talking about Verizon. It's a hit or miss but no hard cap.

Re: [SOLVED!] Losing constant Internet connection on Mofi 4500 (and my mind)
I’ve been using a mofi router for MANY years(5+) with an unlimited data plan and have always had the issue of dropped connection. I believe it is with the carrier. Here is my setup and reasoning is this:
I have a USB MODEN through Sprint unlimited data. (Typically use 1,200GB/mo).

This response may be too late as the post is over a month old.
If so, how did it work out for you?
T-Mobile 71/n71 600MHz band may help the rural setup.
(not sure if 600 is exclusively NR 5G or if 4G is flowing on it as well)
To future proof the antenna purchase, I am reading that people should ...
