T-Mobile antenna info

Okay here we go again I'm pretty new to this stuff and after biting the bullet and ordering a OTR mobile sim. I got my WE826-T working, but the signal is so weak with my current antennas I might as well not have it. I have a permanent camper by the lake and am trying to work from home there. I also have a kid with a few of my grandkids that have a camper 650 feet from mine. Is there an antenna kit out there that can boost both 4G and WiFi or should I look into two different sets. I would appreciate any suggestions, keep in mind i'm a poor white boy with lots of bad habits to spend my money on.

I did not have enough time to do much research, but I did find a tower 1 mile away from my camper to the south and one 6.6 miles to the north. I want to get a cheap omni-directional antenna just to get my office up and running then get me a much better set up once it proves out. My question is do I need two or will one antenna work for now?

Depends on the type of antenna, there are all-in-ones meaning two or four antennas in a box with two/four connectors for your modem, which are more compact and easier to mount. Then there are single antennas, therefore you'll need two or four units since each one only comes with one cable/connector, and you'll need to mount them at a 45 degree angle from each other for best signal. Hello with tower a mile away might be chance this cheap antenna could work.

You'll need separate antennas for your WiFi from the LTE antennas. Different frequencies and uses. I recommend a higher powered wifi Access point, as the WE-826 is weak in the wifi dept.

I did a little random testing with this antenna https://lci-support-doc.s3.amazonaws.co ... 001560.pdf I stood on the tongue of the camper and held it over my head and was able to pull down 12 mbps and 9 mbps up. So I ordered this cheap antenna https://www.amazon.com/Outdoor-Wide-Ban ... 8&sr=8-119 to mount on my old TV antenna pole. I will let you know how it works this weekend.

I plan on selling a few of the units I have on hand and picking up a few flat panel units from Jim. I just need to get my office up and running. Do you guys have a recommendation for the WiFi issue? would I need an antenna to broadcast 650 feet and the standard antenna to pick it up? Can this box transmit 650 feet at all? Getting my office going is the priority getting the grandkids internet is a nice to have.

You can stick it outside camper on short pole by only using good cat 6e (or better) ethernet cable.

Plug into one of the WE826 LAN ports and follow instructions from TP-Link.
