Re: NetGear NightHawk M1 Inside Antenna Ports
I bought some connectors to do this but looked to hard to Solder them on.
This is what I did do which helped getting better connection on the two normal ports. Only issue is solder is very weak if you put pressure on it. So over time they start to get loose. Don't know if I would recommend doing ...

Re: NetGear NightHawk M1 Inside Antenna Ports
And of course you could hang this great Andy Warhol painting on the wall, right behind the router.
Gotta love the artistic side of the mobile router industry. he-he

Thanks for the advice! If you want to link to an ebay auction I can message you on there?
Sorry for delay in response. Just not enough hours in the day lately. Setting up a small community WISP out in East Texas and it has consumed my mind, body and time, lol.
BTW, great idea on how to contact ...

Re: T-Mobile LTE Recipes?
If your friend is that close to t-mobile tower and tower is not congested, simplemobile could be a very good choice. Have tried simplemobile and not bad at all, but my area the tower is so congested, never got over 1mbps down in prime time. Know simplemobile works great in other areas, have tested ...

Re: New here, need hotspot, or truly unlimited data help
NoLimitData is the MVNO that I am using today, was using OTR but they dropped T-Mobile.
The only cell tower I have is T-Mobile. Band-71 works the best as for the 600MHz can shoot through the tress better
than the other bands.
ALL MVNO are a little sketchy!! I could play games and try to get an ...

Re: New here, need hotspot, or truly unlimited data help
T-Mobile phone sim will work. Have three houses on it. Well technically five. Two of the houses share with another house.
Get post pay plan set TTL 64 and good to go. Use it up big time.
Exactly how to avoid the middle man (resellers)!
I wish T-Mobile was not so congested here. 50% of the day ...

Re: Should I be using a booster? Probably not
Thanks for your reply.
I’m actually on an iPhone X. The booster is using one Yagi antenna pointed in the only direction I found to produce any signal. It is posted at the end of my RV about 15 feet up off the ground. Oddly enough the boosted service completely cuts out when I go any higher.
I ...

Re: Cabling recommendations for 25' dual runs from modem to LTE antenna
In 100% agreement with @swwifty. Don't skimp on your cable. Just an extra loss of 1 or 2db can make a world of difference if you are on the fringe.
This calculator gives you good idea of different cables: https://www.qsl.net/co8tw/Coax_Calculator.htm
LMR-240 @ 2500MHz = 3.234DB for 25ft
LMR-400 ...

Re: Tether Phone to GL.iNET GL-MT300N-V2 Wireless Mini Portable Travel Router
Using stock, right from the box. It runs a form of Rooter. You can go into advanced menu and set TTL firewall much like we do on the we826.
I tether my Visible phone via USB directly to the gl-mt300n (link removed). I do not use the built-in wifi for much. What I have setup is a 4 port unmanaged ...

Re: assistance setting up we826/em7455 w Visible
If I leave my em7455 open for all bands, it craps out. Hence the reason of only using verizon bands. Even the other tutorial states that. Maybe you will have different experience.

Re: My provider all of a sudden says I can only use
I'm actually looking into stocking these, mostly for remote camera systems, but also to see if they can be upgraded.
Won a pallet action and there were a few of these (J and K models). Played around with the J model (at&t) little bit. Bands 2, 4 and if I recall 12. Sold one to a fleamarket ...

Re: 700 MHZ DIY Double Biquad/Moxon Antennas
Played around with it a little last night and realized that I was getting a much worse signal on B25 but my download speeds were still a lot better. So next step, I'm going to build a B25 double biquad centered on 1900MHz to see how well it works. May even try a triple biquad... should be much ...

Re: Homebrew Quad 1900MHz Antennas V2
New speed for dual pole is around 20 down and 7 up. But, at&t has been slowing down around here lately and that is what I am getting with factory made flat panels.
