WE826-T2 and installing Goldenorb

Post by terryjett »

Did a search and cannot find answer to my question, please forgive me if overlooked it...

Looking at topic https://wirelessjoint.com/viewtopic.php?f=21&t=18
UPDATE 03-17-2019: The latest version of WiFiX and GoldenOrb for the WE826-T2 appears to have random WiFi and thru-put issues. Until these are resolved, it recommended to use this earlier build of GoldenOrb
Does this still apply as of today?

Or is https://www.ofmodemsandmen.com/download ... -03-10.zip now ok?

Ordered a WE826-T2 and certainly do not want to mess it up right off the bat.

Thanks in advance for the input and/or tips you may have.

The older GO2018-11-03 build seems to be stable although others are running the newer builds as well.

Someone mentioned the newest GO2019-10-20 works well, though I have not tested it.

Little chance you will mess it up since these routers, with the firmware recovery bootload menu, are practically unbrickable.
