It can be if you have a decent enough signal and a decent cell tower.
You wont be out gunning hardline connections due to ping times, but I've done well enough on mine on good days.

It could, it depends on your tower.
Would need to try, it's a low risk only cost $50 a month to try.
No hardware to buy!
Other options would be wait for StarLink or build a modem and try to
get a data plan/SIM to work. Would need to buy hardware
Again depends on your location, your mileage can vary
