AT&T $20 Tablet

Anyone know much about the AT&T $20 Unlimited Tablet plan? Sounds too good to be true. I have a tablet that is a few years old. How does one get this set up?

I've had the same question as I'm already a post paid customer on the Elite plan and was close to adding the Tablet plan. I'd really like to be able to use the sim in a router as I need outdoor antennas for best performance. If not I guess just tether to an OpenWRT router?

I am 1 day in on using this plan. I got hit by the Ubifi outage that started on the 26th, and still have not received my new SIM card - so in an act of desperation I am trying this. So far so good.

All I had to do was go into the nearest AT&T store.

Set up three of these at different houses. So far no issues been running since about February this year. Just called AT&T told them wanted this plan. Gave them the IMEI # and they mailed the sim out. Be prepared for them to try to sell you everything in the world!!!!

I've been using the ATT $20 unlimited tablet/ipad plan (post paid) for a long while now. It's my test SIM for all of my builds. It works great.

I was hit by the Ubifi Outage as well, still not resolved and it's really frustrating. I ended up going with 4gltewifi.com for $62 a month, but am definitely interested in this instead as I could manage it myself.

When you have to give them an IMEI number, is it the number on the Mofi router, or are you getting an IMEI from elsewhere?

Does the sim actually need to go into this LTE tablet or do I just need the IMEI. Have a friend with one that doesn't use LTE on it but they live about 800 miles from me.

My three set ups never went in the tablet. Was directly put into router device.

Just got this $20 tablet plan yesterday. I also have a $55/100GB AT&T plan. Besides the amount of data, are there any differences?

Does $20 ATT need TTL? Mine is on 65 and seems to work fine.
