You'll need to copy QFirehose into your /bin or /sbin dir, if it is not already there.

I've never seen this. Either the card already has an inherent issue, or you are issuing a command to reboot it? OR your router has a watchdog feature that is rebooting the modem in an attempt to get online. You'll need to disable that annoying bit of software.

Moving the SIM to another device, has been done by myself and many many others for years with Calyx. They just can't support or warrant the new device is the real reason they don't want you to move it, no other reason that has any merit.

It's a thing ATT does as a management protocol on the tower. You cannot overcome this, the tower is disabling it after an arbitrary timeframe on any connection that is constant. Verizon has also done it. Any form of disconnect/reconnect fixes it. You don't have to reboot the modem, only force a ...

It depends on where it is coming from. I find that if the higher frequency bands have decent enough signal strength that modems will prefer them over a stronger signal lower frequency band.

Typically those modems aren't carrier locked, but usually a simple firmware flash can clear any special settings or custom firmware restrictions.

All carriers seem to be doing an all out war on VPN use on cell data. It's odd as heck.
Have you tested it ok outside of the VPN use, or tried a simpler proxy, or just used TCP only on the VPN?
Gaming services and VPNs use UDP traffic heavily, and that is seemingly what is getting messed with.

As long as you have the specs on the ports as to which are the primary pair, you can use those two for the outdoor antenna.

I usually revert to using the usb ttyl / UART serial pins to see what's happening in the bootup phase. You will want to use the 16M firmware images, very unlikely you have a 32M version, and even then the 16M version will work.

Re: Unable to access config.invisagig site
I made an account just for this, I'm having the same issue after receiving my invisagig today. It just shows a black screen, I did update the firmware to 1.0.10 and toggle dark mode beforehand. Is there any fix or a way to factory reset it? Really would like to use it
I find that if I set the ...

Re: Chipset
Correct. It's still in engineering samples stage. No FCC approval yet. It should be fine, and seems to work well, just not technically done "cooking" yet.

The Black/Yellow one is Qualcomm based and requires a different firmware. I'm not sure it was made by Rooter.

Re: Chipset
Yeah Alfredo was quick on it. It's an easy swap in for any router that supports the RM520. Good for anyone wanting to get in early. In fact it's using the same pid. Engineering samples can be odd.

I put mine back together by just stuffing it all in the case, lol. It looks fine on the outside, and powers on, but otherwise it's a brick. Haven't tried sending it back yet, though.

Define streamlined.
Every system has a learning curve to get setup. How easy it is to each individual is subjective to that individual.
The setup for WiFi as WAN (Some call it WiFi Hotspot) isn't too involved on most systems.

I'll be the firmware will work on both.
The 5G has gigabit LAN and 2.4GHz + 5GHz wifi, the H has 100M LAN and only 2.4G wifi. Otherwise they are functionally identical and use the same main processor chip.
Ask the Rooter guys if it will work or if they can spin up a version for you for the H, here ...

Re: SIM8380G-M2 / TMHI
tbh I leave IPV4 off and let it tunnel IPV4 traffic over IPV6 via XLAT/CLAT exchanges done on the modem and carrier side. Automagical.
Since the carriers paradoxically CGNAT the IP6 here in the US, it's kind of pointless, other than interest and fun.

Nope! You will cause all sorts of issues. :)
You're thinking of a multiplexer, and they aren't cheap, and generally only are for use with a single system and multiple antennas. There are more complex ways yo go about it, but I'm guessing you don't have an industrial sized budget. ;)

Re: SIM8380G-M2 / TMHI
Unless you have a paid static public IP4 address, I would ignore the IPs assigned by the carrier. Tmobile has a few different IP pools, some decommissioned military IPs, some generic IP pools, some just show as the 192.0.0.2 type. All useless for end user uses.
