I am trying to use the ATT Prepaid Tablet/Hotspot plan in my WG3526 with Sierra 7455 . So far I have tried TTL 64 & 65 without getting the desired result. Does anyone know which TTL will work?
Thanx

Have TTL set at 65 on my ATT plan. Not sure what you mean by "desired result", pretty wide term:)
On my we826 do not use built-in wifi, use ethernet to another wifi router and it also has TTL set for 65.
Sadly in my area, towers are really overloaded and 30 meg down is a good day...

By desired result I meant to stop it from showing data use. I thought that was the only use of the TTL setting.terryjett wrote: Sat Feb 08, 2020 8:04 am Have TTL set at 65 on my ATT plan. Not sure what you mean by "desired result", pretty wide term:)

Ok, got ya. Some people discuss more speed and others about hiding usage with TTL.By desired result I meant to stop it from showing data use. I thought that was the only use of the TTL setting.
You said "ATT Prepaid Tablet/Hotspot" so I assume the ipad plan? If so, I personally have found no way to hide data usage.
Or, is it attached to your post paid plan with other phones?

Unfortunately there's nothing you can do to "hide" your data usage on a limited data plan (in your case 3gigs). The TTL settings are only useful if you have an unlimited data plan (at least on the phone or tablet) with a limited amount of hotspot data, and would like to hide your hotspot usage so you can use it unlimited in your router. Another option is to go with the ATT $35 "Unlimited iPad/tablet plan" a lot of people have been using successfully (course ATT could change or cancel it at anytime).

I signed up for the AT&T Unlimited iPad plan today that's postpaid for $20. Would I need to set a TTL for my WG826 or can I just insert the SIM and it's good to go?
