LT500 not connecting
LT500 not connecting
I activated and used the SIM in a phone first, but no luck with connecting to 4G once trying to setup the new router. I followed the instructions in the quick install guide.
What do I do next?

Which carrier and plan? What did you use for the APN?
Re: LT500 not connecting
I dug around other posts and found that I needed to change the APN for Visible service. That did the trick. Had it at the lake house this weekend to verify that it would work there (lots of tree coverage!).
So any suggestions as to anything I should do to tweak the software?

Re: LT500 not connecting
Good deal!
The general basis would be to set the TTL to 65. Anything else would just be for specific uses, like ddns and vpn, etc.

Re: LT500 not connecting
Hi to all I am new to this sort of thing, so forgive my lack of tech knowledge.
I am having similar issues with my lt500 using visible sim.
I have reviewed all of the post for this unit, but cannot get a stable connection. Sometimes it will not
When it does connect it goes back & forth connection, no connection all day.
Sim was activated in the phone was working good
I have updated the firmware to 1.10.4
Enabled ipv6
Changed the settings under the 4G as Didneywhorl showed in his screenshot with one exception I didn't have the PDP Type box available on the screen
Not sure what i missing. Thanks

Re: LT500 not connecting
Turn on the IPV6 setting under the advanced settings, then make your LTE connections look like this:

Re: LT500 not connecting
I have, but my connections page is missing the PDP Type section. Not sure if that matters
I was able to stream movies today but if I tried to connect my laptop it shut down. As soon as I disconnect the laptop it came backup.
Not sure.

Re: LT500 not connecting
The PDP type should come up after you enable IPV6, maybe needs a reboot and then a new setup wizard ran.
Does the TTL rules section show a custom tab that allows both IPV4 TTL and IPV6 HL?

Re: LT500 not connecting
Tried the reboot nothing, it does have TTL in the advanced section changed that to the IPV4 with 64 & IPV6 with 65 saved and it lost signal.
Rebooted again & nothing couldn't get signal back.
Had to reset back to factory. Then for some reason it took about an hour to get signal back but it wouldn't stay connected it would go back and forth.
I'm at a loss.

Re: LT500 not connecting
When connected, what is your signal strength?
Did you put the modem in MBIM mode via AT commands? I don't recommend that anymore. I would make sure it was put back into QMI mode.
AT command:
AT+QCFG="usbnet"?
...to see the setting.
If it returns a 2 its in MBIM if it returns 0 its in QMI.

Re: LT500 not connecting
LT500 uses a Quectel EC25AFX modem inside.
