Cba850 with mc400lp6 speed issue

Post by Wadson »

Currently running a Cba850 with mc400lp6 with 2-11db yagis cross polarized and cannot for the life of me figure out why I am only getting 2.5mbps up or down. I have gone out of my way to get 2 different carriers. Even took the setup wardriving and compared next to a cell phone on the same networks and 2.5 regardless. Changed the settings within the modem to allow for full network speed before all this so there doesnt seem to be anything software related to cause it. Is it possible that because it's not registered or licensed through netcloud that the speed is throttled or do I need to buy a different modem? All the connectivity to the cell seems solid so I'm stumped...

What version software is the CBA850 using?

What type of data plans and carrier are you using?

NetCloud (or lack thereof) should not be interfering with the router's performance.

Also, lets take a look at your signals. Using this METHOD for accessing the Device Console, and accessing the modem using the atterm command in console, run the follow AT Command and post the results:

Code: Select all

AT!GSTATUS?
That will provide something to work with.
