WG3526-P + US-8-150W

Post by kckrawford »

I'm going to pull the trigger on building a WG3526-P w/ EM7565 but i'm going to be mounting it in a nema box on the outside of the house to keep the antenna cables as short as possible. I want to do the POE setup but wanted to know if the Ubiquiti US-8-150W would support it. If not, I can get the POE from The Wireless Haven, but i already have the UI so don't want to end up buying something that I won't need.

Thanks!

Nope, you need a 12v POE injector. That switch has a 24v POE

Actually, the WG3526-P requires a 48V PoE Injector.
