we1326 vs others weXXX
All:
I noticed not a lot of info or recommended use here on the we1326. (I did notice its out of stock here not sure if that is a sign?) Full disclosure I didn't buy here because I didn't know of this site. I didn't choose the we826 because of no 5GHz WiFi, not as good of cpu and memory. The differences I see are:
we826
Metal case
Smaller size
single band wifi
MT7620A
Flash: 16M
Ram: 128M
we1326
plastic case
dual band wifi
no factory external antenna ports
Main Chipset
MT7621A/dual-core/880Mhz
DDR3 256MB (Highest support 512MB)
16MB (Max 32MB
Seems like the we1326 is better choice? What am I missing?

The WE1326 is not a bad unit. The only issue is that is has built in LTE antennas which makes it difficult to use external antennas.

If using the MC7455, it requires 2 x U.FL to SMA Female bulkhead 5" pigtails.
If using the EM7455/EM75XX, it requires 2 x MHF4 to SMA Female bulkhead 5" pigtails.

I doubt we will stock the EP06-A since it does not have band 41. We do stock the EM06-A which does.BrentDacus wrote: Fri Jan 31, 2020 1:45 pm Dang sorry I am going to be using a quectel ep06-a. Hey, that of JB Weld. Kind of grew out of the baling wire stage since wire ties were introduced.I mean we are both from the South... Duck tape is next...right??

Yes. A Mini PCI-E to M.2 adapter is required to run a M.2 modem in the WE/WG Series of routers.BrentDacus wrote: Fri Jan 31, 2020 2:26 pm o man what is band 41? p is for pcie and is for m.2 i assume? so they are not the same card?

I am not sure which ones it uses. I would think the U.FL but I could be wrong.Factor wrote: Fri Jan 31, 2020 3:38 pm They look like these MHF4 to SMA Female bulkhead 5 would work.
