my EM7455 has no carrier pri and a carrier/config name missmatch

Hello again,

after playing arround now 2 more hours i got it to work to rebrand my DELL DW5811e module to the Sierra generic one.

I flush the Images and reflashed the module with the latest Sierra Generic firmware:
9999999_9904609_SWI9X30C_02.32.11.00_00_GENERIC_002.064_000

I also installed the GenericDriverSetup_4836 on my Dell notebook with Windows 10.

All goes well but my module is still not working.
After doing some AT checks i found out, that there is no Carrier PRI installed or enabled.

So how can get this to work, that my Carrier PRI is not "none" and the missmatch is a match?

Not sure, but you may try flashing the firmware a second time.

Hello,

i already read your document 100 times but can't find any solution for my problem in them.
My COM ports are working and i can connect via Terminal to the card. I also can flash the card, but the PRI will not be activated on the card.
i tried now to flash several times again, but again the same problem.

i also tried this now:

I think i give it up.
i flashed now back the 01.08.07 firmware from Dell and the card works instantly.

i think the problem is that i have a engineering DW5811e card and this one maybe doesn't allow newer firmware versions on it. i don't know. even if i try to update the firmware now to the latest dell firmware, i fall back into the LPM....

really don't know whats going on here with this card...
