T-Mobile Connection Issue
I'm trying to get a NEXQ6GO-M with Quectel EM06-A Modem to connect to T-Mobile but am running into a roadblock. Here are my settings:
APN: fast.t-mobile.com
TTL: Tried both 64 and 65
WAN1 Port: MBIM
WAN1 is showing the following error: Error: Unknown error (NO_REGISTRATION)
I've tested the SIM card and the sim card is working just fine. Any thoughts on as to why it's not connecting?

Re: T-Mobile Connection Issue
If it works in a phone but stop working the moment you put it into the Modem, then it's not a compatible plan.
What's your plan?

Re: T-Mobile Connection Issue
essentials only has 3G for hotspot, that may be part of the issue.
WAN1 is showing the following error: Error: Unknown error (NO_REGISTRATION) may be the network denying you though, without even trying.
Look in the Status-> System Log and do a search for "MBIM" to find all the modem messages, when the modem is in MBIM. If the modem is in QMI then search for "QMI". (Without the quote marks in the search)
Did you turn off the APN autoload that the EP06A does?
AT+QMBNCFG="AutoSel",0
then
AT+QMBNCFG="Deactivate"
Check the APNs set on the modem with:
AT+CGDCONT?

It definitely is. This plan is not meant to be used in a hotspotDidneywhorl wrote: ↑Mon Aug 23, 2021 8:27 pm essentials only has 3G for hotspot, that may be part of the issue.
Sorry, this plan is not meant to be used in a hotspot.
If you chose this plan because it's cheap, look at my latest post to get Magenta Max for $45/mo

Re: T-Mobile Connection Issue
It may, but I've found previously that the APN could be just about anything with T-mobile and it would work. Not sure lately though.
