No Modem or SIM connection? WE826-T2 EM7565

I followed the complete build instructions and went through the troubleshooting post.

My pigtails are attached tightly and are not touching any metal in their periphery. The SIM card was filed down and is sitting flat in the adapter.

It is most likely the M.2 to Mini PCI-E adapter is defective. We have seen this in a few of our adapter in our last shipment.
