Any Recommendations for a Mimo Omnidirectional Antenna

Post by habituallimit »

I have a BYOD sprint unlimited plan. I did some extensive testing during the weekend with my internet. I can hit all the bands though band25 seems to be the most stable as of now. On this band on average I'm getting 5 to 2 down and around 10 to 6 up. I want to try to keep this setup inside and not out (though may bring it out if need be). I'd like to enhance my antenna and would like something omnidirectional that's mimo capable.

I checked The Wireless Haven site and I'm liking 2 Antenna's on there so far which is.

698-2700MHz 6dBi-8dBi 4G LTE Omni Antenna (Vertical) N Type Male

and

450-2700MHz Radome 3dBi-6dBi 4G LTE Ultra Wide Band Omni-Directional Antenna

Was wondering if anybody had any recommendation for a omnidirectional mimo antenna.

For LTE MIMO applications using onmi-directional antennas, we have found it best to use two separate omni antennas.

Appreciate your advice Jim. May I ask what you think are the two most solid omnidirectional antenna's?

Was also wondering if you were expecting to get the Wide Band Multi-carrier 4G LTE Directional Antenna back in stock anytime soon? I would consider getting yagi's if I didn't live in a area with so many tree's.

If I had the time, I would wait on the 15dBi directional antennas. We have another shipment on the way. I could only speculate when they will arrive.

Thanks for the heads up.
