Verizon keeps kicking our MOFI routers off the network

Post by spyder22 »

My company is running two mobile data centers in a remote area in Utah. Both SIM's are on an unlimited plan. About once a week or so the modems will just drop off. The only fix is to deploy one of our techs to reset the modems. Has anyone else had these issues? Known causes?

Thanks!

I haven't seen this directly, but I have heard of it randomly.

Why not setup a connection monitor?

Maybe schedule a nightly reset of the router?

A long time ago used to get kicked off the Verizon mifi plans. Would have to put it back in mifi again to turn on sim again.

Then used a quectel modem and then wouldn't get kicked off. But that was over a year ago maybe 2 years ago
