WG3526 + MC7455: No Modem Present

Hello,

I followed this guide for use with Calyx/Sprint (from an activated ZTE MF920VS): https://thewirelesshaven.com/building-wg3526-lte-router/
  • WG3526-P Router
    Sierra Wireless MC7455 Modem (CAT6)
    U.FL to SMA Female (Straight) Bulkhead Pigtails 1.13 cable Kit (has one 5″ and one 10″ pigtail)
    700-2700 MHz LTE Antennas (requires two antennas with SMA connectors)
    5 in 1 SIM Card Adapter Kit with Emery Sanding Board
The WG3526 does not connect.

The router is seeing the modem. So that is a good thing.

Assuming your r.ispsn is the correct APN for your device, I would check to make sure it is reading the SIM.

Check out the Troubleshooting guide as it covers 95% of all issues.

I tried the Troubleshooting Guide, too. It did not help. The SIM is problematic because there is no way to guarantee it is in correctly or making proper contact. The original guide doesn't even advise how to inset the SIM.

The SIM card will only fit the adapter one way. The SIM card adapter will only go into the router and lock (click ) into place one way.

What does this return:
