I have a 9 month old WE826 T-2 (red and blue LED's) and MC7455 with Verizon that was working for about 7 months at a remote location. It is no longer working - when I plug power in I get red LED, 4th LED (blue) and then 2nd LED (blue) turns on after a few seconds (the red LED is position 1).
Nothing has been touched since I got it working - it's KaPut.
Anyone experienced this, or have any ideas?
Is it the router? (WE826 T-2)
Or - is it the modem? (MC7455)
Just wondering if I should start replacing components, and if anyone has had this experience before and can say which I should replace first?
The router is cheaper than the modem- but if people's experience is the modem never breaks, then I don't want to waste time on that. OR - if 'yeah the modem is crap', then I'll try that first.
Any advice is appreciated.

It sounds like it is stuck in the firmware recovery mode.
I have seen this happen when the electricity spikes after a power failure, and/or the power goes off and back on a couple of times in a roll.
You may just need to reload the firmware following this TUTORIAL

It's in a location where we have brown outs. but I have tried to mitigate that with surge protectors and UPS....
I will try the tutorial you mentioned and report back... thanks

that did not work. when I plug power in the red led and a blue led light up immediately (symbol under blue looks like a circle and an ellipse. then about 15 seconds later I get another blue light (looks like the usb symbol). That is it, they just turn on, they do not flash, no other leds come on.
any ideas?

I would guess it probably got damaged from brown outs at this point?jackrterrier wrote: Mon Mar 18, 2019 8:30 am that did not work. when I plug power in the red led and a blue led light up immediately (symbol under blue looks like a circle and an ellipse. then about 15 seconds later I get another blue light (looks like the usb symbol). ok, should I replace the WE826, or the MC7455? Or Both? Only had for 9 months...

I'd try the WE826 first, cause it's cheaper, than if you still have issues, the modem.jackrterrier wrote: Mon Mar 18, 2019 8:37 am ok, should I replace the WE826, or the MC7455? Or Both? Only had for 9 months...
