Hey guys I have been having problems with DNS, and DMZ mode. My setup a wg1608 in dmz mode being passed to my er12.
I have been beating my head against the wall trying to get things working. To troubleshoot I have completely eliminated the er12 and am connected directly to the wg1608. I did a factory reset then flashed the latest firmware three times just to make sure I was starting off fresh.
I got everything setup. Enter my APN for tmobile, changed my TTL to 65 on both IPv4 and v6
My problem is I cannot ping any site with IPv4, I do have internet on IPv4 though. I can ping everything with IPv6 without problem.
Could tmobile be blocking DNS on IPv4?
Please any help would be appreciated

Hello,
Honestly don't know the answer to your problem. Have a couple suggestions to try.
First is that have always used TTL of 64 on T-Mobile.
Second is to try and set the dns on your WG1608 router following this link.

I prefer cloudflare
1.1.1.1
1.0.0.1

Gave it a shot, still no luck . This seems to be wg1608 or em160 or both related. My we826 with ep06 has no issues with the same sim.gscheb wrote: ↑Fri Feb 05, 2021 11:53 am Hello,

I am at a loss on all of this.
Wonder if a firmware flash on the em160 would help? I have tried all variants of rooter from dairyman with no luck

Re: Need some help please
You may try version A05 firmware on the EM160: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1iMy3QN ... sp=sharing
Also, the WG1608 seems to have an issue with the EM160, and Im not sure what it is. BUT you might try using the EM160 in an adapter enclosure, instead of direct in the router, and see if that solves the issue. https://thewirelesshaven.com/shop/pcie-m-2/m-2-ng ... card-slot/

I will upgrade the firmware and see if that helps. While I have everything apart I will test the em160 in the we826 and see if that eliminates the problem.
How do I get the wg1608 to use the usb port as the modem instead of the m.2 slot?
Re: Need some help please
Didney do you know if the wg3526 has the same problems with the em160? I am thinking about ditching this wg1608Didneywhorl wrote: ↑Fri Feb 05, 2021 4:36 pm You may try version A05 firmware on the EM160: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1iMy3QN ... sp=sharing

It detects it automagically. I use these: https://thewirelesshaven.com/shop/pcie-m-2/m-2-ng ... card-slot/
