NEX6QGO running GoldenOrb_2020-04-04
I used an OpenVPN ovpn config file to setup my VPN in WiFix. It contains the server and port. The port is 1912.
Why is WiFix using a different port than what is specified in the ovpn file?

Re: WiFix OpenVPN system using the wrong port
One day I will play with the VPN stuff.
Hopefully a VPN guru that knows the rooter and WiFiX firmware chimes in.
Can you change it in the UI and it stay changed?

How do you change it in the UI? I don't see where the port field can be edited.Didneywhorl wrote: Thu Dec 24, 2020 12:44 am One day I will play with the VPN stuff.

Unfortunately that does not provide a place to edit the port number, that I can see.Didneywhorl wrote: Wed Jan 06, 2021 11:51 am By clicking edit next to the rule there in your picture.

I tested this in non-WiFiX firmware, just rooter. It seems to be the same. May want to ask the Goldenorb guys over on the whirlpool forum.
