Is it possible to use the Mofi as a signal booster itself?
Probably wondering why I would want to do that. Well the T-mobile Home internet service requires that you use their router. It’s sim locked into their router, so you can’t use it on other devices.
With their router I am not getting the best signal. I was hoping I could use my Mofi as a signal booster only due to the fact I have 2 external antennas hooked up to it that help increase the signal a LOT.
I just don’t know how you would be able to.
Thanks.

No. Boosters have an inside antenna and, I think, two transceivers, one for outdoor and one for indoor.
I'm just guessing here but I think a booster is quite a different device to a modem. Boosters don't seem to care about the mode, i.e., LTE, 3G. 2G (but they do care about the band). That suggests to me that they're more a linear type repeater than digital.

First I would give T-mobile support a call to see if they have any options.
Booster is not the word I would use. More like a front end to the to the T-mobile modem.
Or a way to add antennas to the TM modem. I have seen this tried but it's ugly!!

Can you give more details on the cost and the amount of data you get with TM home internet.

Looks like the TM modem is a Cat-12 .... Humm not bad.
Maybe a PoE setup would help. Put the modem outside on a pole in an enclosure
