we826GO-U, quectel EC25-AF can't get on t-mobile
I am unable to get my WE826GO-U on the internet
I installed the Quectel EC25-AF modem
connected antenna pigtail connecters
configured apn for fast.t-mobile.com
set time zone, password saved all
got t-mobile sim and put in apple iphone 6, connected and got on internet pulling 40 Mbps
pulled sim from iphone 6 and put sim in adapter tray
installed sim in we826GO-U
powered up we826GO-U
look at debug info
looks like dev/ttyUSB2 AT+COPS=0 returns an error code +CME Error 13
I installed the Quectel EC25-AF modem

Under Modem-->Network Status does your modem show up, IMEI info filled in and SIM info?
Which plan are you using?
What mode is your modem in? QMI, MBIM, ECM?
Should say this at the bottom of the first section. If not you can go to Modem-->Miscellaneou-->AT Command Terminal and enter the command:
if it returns a:
1 its ECM
0 is QMI
and 2 is MBIM

Before I answer all your questions, it dawns on me that maybe I should configure the modem to use the IMEI number from the iPhone 6 as it is what is activated on the network. Is there a way to do that? Or is there a way to activate the Quectel IMEI, or doesn't it matter?

If it's a sprint plan then it probably uses the sprint apn, not t mobile.

i have now tried the sprint apn's. Same error. I am pretty confident that I need to use the t-mobile apn as the sim is t-mobile and the iPhone 6 it came out of was configured to use the t-mobile apn. the plan is sprint, but I have been migrated to the t-mobile network because sprint is so bad at my house. I can't find what error 13 meant in the Quectel AT command guide

If you swapped SIMs and the new SIM registers fast.t-mobile.com on the phone its registered in, then it should work out fine on that APN.

After Modem IMEI does it Show the SIM information? If not, there's a major issue, its not reading your SIM card.

The CME Error 13 means that the modem is not provisioned properly for some reason. Even thought you have migrated your Sprint to Tmobile, Sprint accounts have always been problematic to provision.
Not sure if you have done it already, but I would try the sim card in a phone first, make a test call and browse the web, then insert it back into the router. You may want to reflash the router with the latest firmware

After flashing it, perform a full factory reset via System > Backup/Flash Firmware > Flash Options > Restore > PERFORM RESET.
Restart the router, set the APN to "fast.t-mobile.com", TTL to 65, restart the router, wait about five minutes then try to access the web. By the way, iPhones tends to show the APN incorrectly (though internally it's set correctly), you could try to insert the sim into an Android to read the correct APN (it may not be "fast.t-mobile.com" due to being a former Sprint account).
If there's still no connection, I would test the route with a different carrier's sim card, make sure to set the proper APN and TTL. If all else fails, drop me a line at the contact info under my profile pic.
