Ended up ordering star link. But my retired aunt and uncle decided to try the Verizon 5G home. They move between two homes. So that is perfect for them to operate phones and TVs. Just take it when them. So far they are happy with it.

We have the 5g home that is throttled at 300mbps. When I run a speed test it will jump up over 300. Then I can watch them throttle it back down. But for us 300 is plenty. Does it matter how the antennas are connected? Also, do you think a RM520 modem would perform better than the RM502? Since I moved SIM to quectel EM12 had been allot more consistent after blocking bands 4 and 66. So it seems the Nokia gateway from T-Mobile was cuasing issues. Not sure why it started doing that. Worked good for a long time.
The Nokia was even having hard time playing live TV.

Hello,
Last night moved my SIM to a quectel EM12. This is a lesser device than the Nokia trash can thing far as abilities. Use it for a few days and see if can get better consistency out of it. Will let you know. Need to do something the Nokia is so undependable anymore.

So now I called and they said the stand alone tablet plan for T-Mobile is $60. The $20 price is if you have phone lines there. Allot of the companies are going to this now it seems.
Rather just pay the extra $5 and get a magenta max phone line. With the 55+ plan.

Hello,
Called T-Mobile they told me can get a $20 stand alone tablet plan. It is unlimited data and video streaming at 480p. In the past have used Magenta Max phone plane but never tried to use a tablet plan. Has anyone out there tried this?
Or any other service plans anyone knows about to use?
