Visible For Home Internet is it over?

Post by gscheb »

Hello all,

Is anyone having good luck with Visible right now?

Can get to connect and stuff.
But in order to work on everything like streaming Netflix needs a VPN now too.
Never used to have to do that.

Is it just me or is it a everybody thing now?
Don't want to use VPN for everything too many issues with it at times with certain websites and etc.

By the way currently using the legacy Visible plan with party pay if that matters.

Open to any suggestions for new service to use for light internet use and streaming.

Thanks,

Also sometimes it will say it is connected in rooter. But has no internet access. Then you got add VPN restart it and then have internet.

I have heard of a lot of Visible issues popping up. I haven't tested mine lately. I need to. For now it's just in a phone.

So I just put the Visible sim into a old phone. Turned on hotspot and connected netflix to it and it plays. So it isn't that Visible can't stream anymore. Something to do with the set up of the router then right?

Now this time tether that same phone to the WiFiX router. It will play netflix that way. But when put the sim card into the router won't play netflix with out a VPN.
Does anyone have a guess of what could be doing this?

This time noticed that it will play Netflix on a tablet and the laptop. But not on the phones or on tv devices like a fire stick.

Also won't register a firestick or a roku device. I guess the connection is just too flaky for that. Allot of time when you run a speed test on certain devices it will say up load of zero!

Visible is going way down hill for me.

Was wondering if anyone out there has tried the new Visible plans?
This troubled connection I have is with the old party pay plan. Which is getting routed thru the older servers with high ping

Mine is working good on Cudy LT18. I regularly use close to 200gb. Problem is the speed ends up decent but seems like my bandwidth gets very limited. I will regularly get 20mbps but seems slow.
