Re: Anyone having connection issues recently on AT&T?
I’m using a $50/m Autopay AT&T plan on a x750 spitz running GoldenOrb. Signal strength is around 40% and stays on B4 most of the day and does CA with B66 or B12 when I’m assuming the tower is congested.
I’ll get disconnected normally once a day or less per my connection log and I have connection ...

And it works with ps4? My only problem is connect to PlayStation network.
Most mobile carriers provide a "private IP" address instead of a public one which is required for some gaming consoles.

Any help or suggestions would be appreciated. I am quite experienced with most networking stuff but GoldenOrb is a bit new to me.
I would try the following.
1.
Reflash the router with the latest GoldenOrb firmware in bootloader mode.

Might work. Might present noise. Not really sure. I should try sometime.
It would probably work, but you would have to play around with the antennas "pairs" to see which combination works best on two 2xMIMO modems.

Re: LTE Provider options for Home Internet
Is "magic" legal in the United States? Having hard time finding straight forward yes or no for this.
Without beating around the bush, the straight answer is "NO", there's a federal law on the books against "cloning". Some people do it with a "donor phone/tablet" which should never be used at ...

Would IMEI be the reason when we are talking about tethering the phone? Wouldn't think so.
Every once in awhile it does work and gets past the 5 Mbps.
Think there is some way they know when you select USB tether on the phone must be flagging them somehow. Cause even after disconnecting it from ...

You're misunderstanding what problem I'm solving with EasyTether. It's not general speed, video throttling or otherwise.

Currently pretty much all phone plans have some kind of hotspot limit.
If you don't want to get a full blown router to bypass the limit, you could go with an inexpensive GL-Inet MT300N mini travel router smaller than a pack of cigarettes.

Re: MC7455 / EM7565 vs. Quectel EP06 IMEI Change
Qualcomm devices have a much more secure NVRAM than MTK based ones, so I doubt that there's any simple AT command to repair it in case it gets wiped out. Even if you didn't have the right TTL should still get the 5 down cap. Getting .75 is some other issue would think.
0.75Mbps sounds like a throttled speed, which could be due to several reasons.
1. Lack of signal (simple as that)
2. Wrong TTL which used up all the high speed hotspot data, and ...
