I have a question regarding using a Citizen Mobile SIM card from a Franklin T9 hotspot device in a different unlocked hotspot device, specifically the T10 model. I'm hoping someone here might have some insights or experience to share.
The situation is that I currently have a Franklin T9 hotspot device that's been giving me some issues lately (the input is loose and is a pain to get to stay in place).
I'm considering getting a new device, and the unlocked Franklin T10 hotspot seems like a good option. However, I'm wondering if I can simply take the SIM card from my problematic T9 and insert it into the new T10.
Has anyone tried something similar? Are there any technical hurdles or compatibility concerns I should be aware of? I understand that both devices are from the same brand, but I want to make sure that the SIM card will work seamlessly with the new device.
I appreciate any advice or personal experiences you can share. While I plan to reach out to Citizen Mobile's support as well, I believe the community's knowledge and firsthand experiences are invaluable in making an informed decision.

It is not likely that you can swap it, as Tmobile has locked these types of SIM cards to the device IMEI.
You CAN swap it into a device that allows the capability to change the IMEI. Pretty much any Quectel modem based system like these:

and more: https://thewirelesshaven.com/product-ca ... d-bundles/
Mobile Citizen does not support this and discourages it, but I've never seen anyone lose their SIM for doing it; just don't tell them you are doing it. They also cannot support your device if you do this, but The Wireless Haven will step in as device support anyway.

You can't change the IMEI that the SIM is locked to, but you can change the devices IMEI to match the one the SIM card is locked to.
It depends on the device, for how this is done. You can search it for basically any device that has the capability, and most are pretty simple right now.
