Hey,
Anyone have a write up on how to install Modem Manager? I purchased a GLi.Net AXT-1800 router and need to get MM installed to get my USB enclosure recognized. I found the thread on the 826 but that was from a defined firmware install. How do you install it onto the router manually? Thanks in advance!

Re: Modem Manager Install
Depends on the firmware, but the CLI way is using the commands:
opkg update
then
opkg install modemmanager
requires some form of internet conneciton (WAN is easiest)

Re: Modem Manager Install
Thanks! I was able to ssh into router, and run those 2 commands successfully, but i don't have 'modemmanager' as an option on wwan. Is there anything else i need to do?

Re: Modem Manager Install
You may want to look up modemmanager and its related packages that are needed and make sure they were all installed. Make sure to power cycle the router after its all installed.
Also, I'm not entirely sure you can assign the modemmanager protocol if it doesn't detect a device. Not 100% sure. ModemManager isn't my specialty just yet.
