MOFI4500V3

Post by Ddunning »

I have this giant headache and a lot of buyers remorse hoping a firmware swap will make my experience a bit better. I have the Sierra MC7455 I think so far I must be using the wrong firmware every flash results the same it can’t detect the internal modem. Everything is detected fine in the stock firmware. Can anyone direct me to the proper firmware or a guide to get it working?

I "THINK" the V3 is a WE826Q router. MOFI has said that the V2 and V3 are not the same router base. The only difference in the base router "WE826" that I know of is the WE826T2 and WE826Q. The Early MOFI was based on the T2.

Ok so what i did find out is that this thing is based on the MediaTek's MT7620 chipset with the mc7455 modem installed the q just didnt install and rebooted I think cause its qualcom the firmwares i tried based on mediatek did install. Just never detected the modem or let me send at commands it would throw some kind of usb error.
