Been searching the forum and still seem confused.
I have extra voice lines with unlimited data. What hotspot or router can I use in my truck with this type of line?
Tmobile hotspot with voice sim

Re: Tmobile hotspot with voice sim
The Voice lines aren't made for using in routers, but some have figured out that if you are willing to change the IMEI of the modem, which is against FCC rules and cannot be spoken on here, that it does in fact work. Otherwise you just need the APN that the phone would use and set the system time properly. Sometimes also a good idea to set the IPV4 and IP6 TTL: https://wirelessjoint.com/viewtopic.php?f=21&t=2752
You could use the NEXQ6GO-U router with the Sierra MC7411 and pickup all of T-Mobiles bands. The router can be powered via 12VDC directly. I would wire in an inline 12VDC power regulator to make sure the power stays pretty consistently at 12V. Fusing wouldn't hurt either.
All you need:
Router

Modem:

If you want an antenna to put up top you could use this one on the road and get much better signal when needed:

Cables between the two, like:

thewirelesshaven can make you any cables that you need.
We all can help you build and configure it, or The Wireless Haven can build and configure it for you.

Yes. A better router for not much more: https://thewirelesshaven.com/shop/routers/wifix-r ... 8ghz-wifi/
These show on backorder but they will start shipping out next week.
I forgot to mention this router. MUCH better router.
