LT500 super duper slow!

I received my new LT500 router in the mail this morning. I am running on visible. I have my cell on visible and a mofi 4500 on visible. I got this one for my shop.
I unpackaged the LT500 plugged it in and I must say, setup seemed to be super easy! But I must have done something wrong. My phone gets around 45-50 Mbps upload and 30-35 download speeds. Same with the Mofi. I downloaded and unzipped the new firmware, installed it in the LT500. Set my apn and TTL. When I run a speedtest it only gets around 9-12 Mbps up and 2-3 down. Any ideas? Did I miss a step or something? I've seen that people get a lot faster speeds with it than a phone due to better reception.

Your phone is a WAY better modem. The EC25AF in the LT500 cannot do carrier aggregation and is a lower category modem than your phone. You may want to see what band your phone is connecting to as well. It may be getting a faster band, while the LT500 maybe not.

The LT500 is a cool little router, and super easy to setup, but its no sports car. Your phone is for sure a sports car.

What’s the max speed this modem can get with Visible?

I've gotten upwards of 35-45Mbps on Visible using the LT500. It's highly location depentant really.

~5Mbps up and down is indicitive of hotspot throttling.
