I'm currently running
WE828-T2 router
Sierra EM7565 Cat 12 modem with the mPCIE to M.2 adapter
Two Proxicast 9/11 dBi Ultra Broadband LPDA High Gain 3G / 4G / LTE/xLTE/Wi-Fi/Public Safety Band Fixed Mount Directional Antenna (698-960/1710-2700/4400-4900 MHz)
My question is what extra equipment would I need to upgrade to the Quectel RM500Q-GL 5G modem?
And I already did my homework on the 5g frequencies in my area. 'T-Mobile sub6ghz all day long'

Re: Equipment needed to upgrade to quectel 5g modem
Jump up to the WG1608D-M router with another antenna pair (best to have all matching antenanas), as well as upgraded power adapter of at least 4A.
