I have been trying to get this pair working well together for the last few weeks. I was having issues before which were fixed by a SW re-install.
I followed the build doc on here and then config'ed it based on the tutorial. I had it running for a few days. Then we lost power due to a storm, not near us. When the system rebooted, the modem was listed as "No modem present".
I reinstalled the firmware (since that fixed the original issue) but it gave me the same error. I was a bit concerned that maybe I had truly lost the modem. However, the modem did show up & gave me "Connecting" message for a day or so. I rebooted & again the modem went missing. Again fearing the modem was missing I started to look through the logs & noticed that the modem DID show up but then seemed to be disengaged. It was being ID'ed by the OS been then being lost for some reason.
I began to think it might have been a firmware image issue so I installed Of Modems and Men image. I thought it might fix the issue at best; at worst it would overwrite the firmware & I could re-install the Wifix SW over it.
This gave the same result of "no modem present"!
I am sure the modem is working to some degree. In the Debug log, I am seeing the following (and I am concerned that the BOLD FACED line has something to do with my issue):

Here is a copy of what I pulled from the SysLog. Again you will notice that the modem is listed by name and ID etc. I have no idea why it is happening but I still think the modem is being delinked by the OS for some reason. I don't think the modem is the issue directly, If you look at the last 4lines of this pull you can see it states it has found A MODEM:

I am completely lost on this and I hope I can get some of your help. Thank you in advance for any assistance you can offer on this. When it was working it was GREAT and I couldn't have gotten it running originally without your help.

Not sure if you were able to fix your modem issue, but here it goes...
First, reflash the router in bootloader mode using the link below.
https://wirelessjoint.com/viewtopic.php?p=6007#p6007
If the firmware flashing didn't fix the modem, then the easiest way to diagnose this, is by the process of elimination.
Since we don't know for sure which component has failed (could be the router or the modem), get an external modem enclosure (https://thewirelesshaven.com/shop/pcie-m-2/mini-p ... card-slot/) to test the modem in the external enclosure connected to a pc. If it works fine then there's a possibility that the router has become defective from the power outage/spike. If the modem doesn't work in the external enclosure then it's likely a defective modem, and the next step is to flash the modem with the latest firmware below.

Re: WG3526 and EP06-a modem--modem had gone missing
Actually, I got no joy.
I broke down and purchased a 7565 modem since I wasn't thrilled with the speed anyway.
I just got everything together today. Everything is fine, but my speeds are TERRIBLE. I'm going to post this in a different thread tomorrow, though. All my signaling is good to excellent based on the cheat sheet. I tried ALL the custom TTLs but still running sub-1Mbps, but at least it's connected!

As a test, insert sim card into a phone and run this speed test in any browser.

and with https connection

Post your results, including your signal info to try to diagnose the issue.
If you're getting much higher speeds in a phone, chances are that the phone has a higher CAT# modem built in, so you may want to upgrade the modem in your router, and maybe add high gain external antennas.
