I'm completely new to the whole LTE internet stuff but have already learned a fair amount thanks to this forum!
I got a Mofi4500 SIM4 V2 from a friend who wasn't using it anymore and got AT&T service turned on for it. I really would like to put my own modem and router together but due to the limited supplies of equipment that will have to wait for now.
After some initial testing I have the following bands available: B2, B4, B5, B12, & B30. I couldn't get any internet on B5 so I locked that one out. The four remaining bands all had comparable speed so I did a band lock to include all 4 of them.
The main issue I'm having with this thing is I don't think Carrier Aggregation is working. Of course with me being a complete noob I could be wrong but under Carrier Aggregation it shows INACTIVE or NOTE AVAILABLE.
Anyone have any tips on how I can dive in deeper to the Mofi configuration to figure out if Carrier Aggregation is actually functioning or not?

Re: Mofi4500 and Carrier Aggregation
hello,
Just a quick note - to see if Carrier Aggregation works you need to download something substantial or run a speedtest
https://speedof.me/
http://speedtest.att.com/speedtest/
https://www.speedtest.net/
it will test the download speed don't be surprised if it consumes between 100-800 MB (it depends) of you traffic at once.
As far as I know Carrier Aggregation is off (I have MC7455 in my MOFI) then the modem is in idle mode or under very light load.

You can use the above speed test sites, though you'll have a pretty short amount of time for testing, so here's a direct link to iTunes download which should give you several minutes of a testing window for carrier aggregation.
