WiFIX WE826-T Showing there is no sim card
Hello everyone, I posted this a few days ago and for some reason, my account disappeared as well as the thread for this so cheers to round 2.
I have a WifiX We826-T that says there is no Sim card plugged in when I put it in there. I cleaned the connections and have the sim paced firmly within the adapter. I have the correct apn placed for Verizon and am running modem Sierra_Wireless,_Incorporated Sierra_Wireless_EM7455_Qualcomm®_Snapdragon™_X7_LTE-A. If anyone could help me to try and get this connecting to that would be GREATLY appreciated.
Within the connection log, it says Sun May 3 11:12:57 2020 : Retry Connection with Modem #1
Sun May 3 11:13:08 2020 : Attempting to Connect Modem #1 (Sierra_Wireless,_Incorporated Sierra_Wireless_EM7455_Qualcomm®_Snapdragon™_X7_LTE-A)
Sun May 3 11:13:34 2020 : Retry Connection with Modem #1.
I will provide any information I can to the post as long as my account doesn't get deleted or removed (still confused on that), Thank you to everyone in advance

Re: WiFIX WE826-T Showing there is no sim card
The site has been completely moved to another server host. Its likely some users and posts have been lost.
I think your issue will be resolved if you place the SIM card in the slot on the side of the router, not in the adapter. This is how mine is setup.

Re: WiFIX WE826-T Showing there is no sim card
It's within the router, I just am using an adapter because the size of the sim card is a nano. Even with the sim card in the sim slot it doesn't show up there is a card. The sim card is activated and works completely fine when it is in my tablet.

Re: WiFIX WE826-T Showing there is no sim card
I understand, but the router isnt seeing it.
Your saying you have tried it in both the routers sim slot AND the adapters sim slot and neither way works?

I use adapters for the nano cards. Which adapter set are you using?

I'm using the NOOSY Micro sim adapter.
Sorry, I'm new at this so it might be a little confusing while I'm explaining.

Then you might just have a bad SIM slot on the board. Not unheard of

Re: WiFIX WE826-T Showing there is no sim card
Turns out the adpater I have for my sierra wireless card has a sim card slot on it. I put it in there and I believe it recognizes the card, however it isn't connecting to Verizon. Looking in the debug, it shows me this Tue May 5 19:01:02 2020 : /dev/ttyUSB2 AT+CFUN=1
+CME ERROR: operation not supported
Not sure exactly what this is but thank you in advance. Sorry yall have to help me being a newbie at this but it is extremely appreciated.

Hmmmm. The CFUN command turns the radio on and off. 0 off, 1 on. There are other options, but it sounds like its going to be more complicated. Ill have to dig.
Did you buy the unit complete? WE826/EM7455/Etc?

Re: WiFIX WE826-T Showing there is no sim card
You may need to do what was done here:
https://wirelessjoint.com/viewtopic.php?f=17 ... em7455+low
And follow this...
https://docs.google.com/document/d/1IO- ... B3Mk8/edit
Not easy.
.....OR tell your ebay seller to give you your money back and buy it from thewirelesshaven.com. I would go with the MC7455, as it doesnt need an adapter.

Re: WiFIX WE826-T Showing there is no sim card
I had two moFi routers fail to see the SIM card. Returned both, and purchased a couple we826 modems. Using the same SIM card as the MoFi's, and haven't had any problems since.
