Ok. I received my wg3526 this evening and decided to get it set up. Or at least that was the plan. I had issues getting the device to load the wifi config for the rom. I fixed that via the walkthrough on how to attach via the console; THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!!
Then I had to figure out the Chinese that was present. I sorted that vie the ”if your update is Chinese.” walkthrough; THANK YOU AGAIN!!
I finally got the rom reload and functional. I then when through the configuration walkthrough.
Everything seems but I have not cellular connection. I saw people said to try 65, 117 and maybe 64 for the tty, but none of those work.
In the signal/cell info page, I can see the modem and it's id. The comm port is /dev/ttyusb2. The provider however says ”connecting”
The modem/sim info looks right. It has the correct phone numbers.
.But the signal and cell info sectIons have no values for any kind.
I'm not new to computers but I'm new to being this deep in cell modem and wifi.
I thank anyone in advance for your hel!

The first step should be to try the sim card in a phone, make sure you can call and go online in the phone's browser.
Once that all checks out, power off the router, insert the sim card, power it on, wait a few minutes, then try to go online.
I would try to connect through an ethernet cable first, and once that works, through WiFi.

I was just coming to delete this post. I re-ran the update and it connected perfectly.
