Hi, I recently got a WE826-Q router with an EC25 module.
The firmware I got is some sort of custom LEDE build OpenWRT firmware.
When I try to upload and flash the .BIN file for either goldenorb/WIFIx, It says the file format is not supported.
I realize this may be because I am not flashing from stock firmware but from OpenWRT on the router.
I tried changing the extension to .trx on the BIN file but the same issue.
I am not sure what to do here. How am I supposed to flash this thing, what is the correct file type?
I am also having trouble to SSH into the router as idk the username/pass.
I am really desperate for some help because I am a newb in this stuff.
Thanks

Try flashing it using the bootloader method, here are the step by step instructions:

Thank you Bill. I will test it and get back with an update.
BTW, the router I received came with a different gateway IP: 192.168.8.1 Do I have to adjust the IP settings to my LAN port on my PC to 192.168.8.10 instead of 192.168.1.1? I really dont know much about this stuff.
