Ethernet Or USB-C To Laptop?
My wife and I bought an RV recently. I have both an Inseego and Netgear hotspot. When I connect to my Chromebook, I prefer a wired connection rather than WiFi. My Acer Chromebook Spin 714 has two USB-C ports. Should I use an Ethernet adapter and connect to the hotspots that way or simply use a USB-C to USB-C cord? Does it matter?

If the hotspot has an ethernet port then use an ethernet cable which is the fastest.
If it only has a USB port, then trying connecting it to a pc, or Chromebook (though it may not be supported)
If the USB port is only for charging, then you can only use WiFi.
Some cheaper hotspot don't support data via cable.

They pretty much all have a USB tethering option, it is possible it is set to off but normally is on by default.
