Has anyone tried Walmarts Mobile X plan on the MR6500?
Im thinking about trying Walmarts Mobile X non deprioritized 5G UWB plan from Verizon. It's under $25 a month. Has anyone tried this yet on their MR6500?

Theie highest plan at $25 only includes 30 gigs/mnonth, most people blow through that in a couple of day.
For 50 bucks with other carriers you could get at least 300 gigs.

$24.88 new plan, non deprioritized, unlimited high speed data plan that took over the $25 30 gig plan.wildstyle01 wrote: ↑Tue Nov 12, 2024 5:34 pmBillA wrote: ↑Tue Nov 12, 2024 4:47 pmwildstyle01 wrote: ↑Tue Nov 12, 2024 2:42 pm Im thinking about trying Walmarts Mobile X non deprioritized 5G UWB plan from Verizon. Well, on the website it's showing $25 for 30 gigs. I don't know of any carriers giving truly unlimited data with no speed and prioritization limites at this time. They all advertise "unlimited" which is technically true, but only up to 30gigs high speed and unlimited after that at low speeds.wildstyle01 wrote: ↑Tue Nov 12, 2024 5:37 pm$24.88 new plan, non deprioritized, unlimited high speed data plan that took over the $25 30 gig plan.

This is what their website shows, and what it shows at Walmart. I will try it tonight and report backBillA wrote: ↑Tue Nov 12, 2024 10:06 pmWell, on the website it's showing $25 for 30 gigs. Look, currently no US mobile carrier is giving truly unlimited data at full network speed, especially at 25 bucks per month.
This new plan is either limited to thirty gigs per month, then throttled till the next billing cycle. It's technically unlimited, but not quite.
Thirty gigs may work for some, but if you watch lots of YouTube, TikTok, etc, you need at least 200-300 gigs or more per month.
Oh and the video is throttled at 480p, which is pretty low quality.
I wouldn't be surprised if there's some catch, as they mentioned at the end of the video this is an introductory offer, so there's no guarantee that the cost will stay the same. Many companies do this type of promotional marketing to get customer's hooks, then jack up the price.
Try it out, blow through a couple of hundred gigs then post your speed test results.
And they include this scary Terms Of Service. Basically they can disconnect your service if they deem you're using too much (whatever that is).
"We may limit, suspend, constrain, or terminate your Service for use that violates these Terms or for any heavy, continuous data usage or usage that adversely impacts our network’s performance, hinders access to our network, or that we determine is necessary to protect our network from harm or degradation."
