ZLT X28 Quectel RG500L-EU MTK750 AT Command does fix but problem exists

I got this router ZLT x28 , Inserted the sim it shows apn, but no signal , after doing some research got to know the router product Imei does not matches the router Dashboard , Admin panel has (At command) is accessible, the module in this is quectel RG500L-eu , so I given AT command
AT+EGMR=1,7,"Orignal Imei"
response Ok
confirmed by AT+CGSN response shows orignal imei
Rebooted the device

Saw signals lights! looks fixed , connected to internet its working , But firmware admin panel shows the same wrong imei then looked also with At command , AT+CGSN response shows same wrong imei but signals and internet works!! , So to make sure did (2nd)reboot then it not worked no signal ,

So the problem now is that if router turns off or do reboot again it goes back to same wrong imei and then sim doesn't work (no signal)

I have to give At command with original Imei to make it work every time i turn it back on
So whats happening here?? any ideas ? need fix

Probably there's a script somewhere which keeps changing the imei.
Look for any router startup or modem config scripts containing the command "AT+EGMR="
Delete it, and that should fix it.
Are you running GoldenOrb or OpenWRT firmware?
