I have the firmware installed (openwrt-WiFiX-WE826GO-GO2020-05-16- upgrade).
Before that, I tried many different firmware, I liked this one for its simplicity and the fact that all modules work. Since WiFi did not work on some, and somewhere a 3G/LTE modem. I would like to expand the memory for installing packages. I have a 64GB USB flash drive and an 8GB SD card. Can they be used to expand memory?

Should be able to yes. It should read a USB drive as /mnt/sda1/ automatically when plugging in a USB drive. SD cards I haven't messed with but I would assume the same.
