I am having a hard time activating my SIM card with the Wi-Fi router if anybody can help me that would be greatly appreciated

What carrier? What have you done so far?

I have att. I have gone through the system to update as much as I could as of right now they told me to do a system reset and now nothing works

Did you activate the SIM using the IMEI of the modem in the modem inside the router? or did you activate it with a phone or tablet IMEI? ATT may say it's active, but are you sure it is?

What does the Network Status page say while you are trying to connect?

What does the modem log say, or system log?


What APN are you using? menu: Modem->Connection Profile->APN

Is this the APN that ATT told you to use? Sometimes it's different.

The sim card is active it was working before once.
Network status says provider failed to connect.
Apn name is broadband
I don't know what you mean for att told me to use a apn

I found the apn and changed it over and still nothing

Which APN did you change it to? You said previously it was broadband, then you said you changed it.

Did you activate the SIM with the modems IMEI, telling ATT that you were using this router with your plan, or did you activate it in something else?

You said it worked before .. in this router?

It sounds like ATT has blocked the device or you have a setting off.

what is the output from the AT command:

So the new apn nextgenphone. But I just check it again and went back to broadband.
When I called att I activate with the phone. I didn't know there would be another way?
Yes in the router it worked for a day then stop complete.
For the command it game back 1ipv4v6 broadband 0, 2 ipv4v6, ims 0

Is there away to talk on the phone with someone to maybe walk me through setting it up. Or reformatting something

enhancedphone is a phone SIM.

You'll need to make sure you change your modem imei to match the phone.

Also when setting the APN in Modem->Connection profile make sure you click "Save and Apply" before leaving the page.

You'll also want to turn off the auto APN features of your modem.

Which modem do you have?

Wireless Haven cant help with getting phone SIMs working on routers, that's what this open forum is for.
