ATT 20$ tablet plan

I have a question about the 20$ tablet plan for ATT. If I were to buy a tablet online from Amazon would I be able to go into the store and get it activated with the plan? Or would I have to buy it directly from the ATT store?

Hello all,

I currently have this plan. Trying to get it for my uncle. Keep being told that it doesn't exist that there is no such thing as a tablet plan for $20 standalone that is unlimited.
Don't think this is correct?
Anyone out there get one of these recently?

@gscheb I believe the plan was discontinued a long time ago, but if you have the plan before that you're grandfathered and can keep using it.

Thank you for the message. Never was able to see it documented online anywhere that it was gone. Guess it is gone though having issue getting it for sure.
