Why do I get different answers for
Ifconfig wwan0
and
curl ifconfig.me
And how can I query the wwan0 address from a Linux host on the same network?
Public IP

Re: Public IP
I don't have an answer to your initial questions, but.....
Problem is your not going to get a public IP from your modem, because it doesn't know it. It is assigned a CGNAT IP that is internal to the carrier network. The network will route out your traffic and exit from one of their IPs, dynamically. Unless you paid for a public IP on that SIM ... assuming you are using a cellular connection.
