Calyx sprint to T-Mobile. I'm about to lose my mind

Post by coltfreeman »

For the life of me I cannot get this system to reliably stay connected. It was fine under Sprint but now that I'm on T-Mobile I cannot seem to keep it working appropriately. The majority of time it says deauthorized, sometimes it works I have no idea why it's working during those times but it still has difficultly.

SELRAT=6 if I recall is LTE only. I would set it to that.

You have to enter AT!ENTERCND="A710" before AT!USBCOMP? will work.

Make sure its in MBIM (My preference)

PS State: Not Attached means your not being allowed onto the network.

Make sure your SIM card isn't worn out, wouldn't hurt to get a new card just in case.

You MIGHT need to change the modems identity to a hotspot registered to the SIM. The old Sprint Generic firmware trick may not be good enough anymore.

I have the same problem with the new Tmobile sim except I can never connect. Im too dumb to get the python program running correctly but maybe you can. For Tmobile the IMEI needs to match the sim in order for the tower to allow access to the network, atleast in my case and I have called Tmobile and Mobile Citizens, they both confirm the IMEI confirmation.
